Q:
# Find the area of the polygons

Accepted Solution

A:

Hello!

1.

The area of a rectangle is lenth * width

So 16 * 6 = 96

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2.

The area of a square is a side^2

So 11^2 = 121

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3.

The area of a parallelogram is base * height

So 14 * 9 = 126

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4.

It is a parallelogram again

So 12 * 8 = 96

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5.

The area of a triangle is [tex] \frac{h * b}{2} [/tex]

h is height and b is base

15 * 19 = 285

285/2 = 142.5

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

for number 6 I do not remember how to do that sorry

Hope this helps!
